Introduction TopSPEC® PEDV/TGEV RT-qPCR Kit
Gastric and Intestinal Inflammation along with Acute Diarrhea in swines are infectious diseases transmitted through both the oral route and the barn environment. Transmissible Gastroenteritis Virus (TGEV) is the causative agent of gastric and intestinal inflammation, while Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV) induces symptoms of acute diarrhea. Pigs infected with these viruses typically exhibit signs such as anorexia, vomiting, and diarrhea. Early detection of the presence of PEDV and TGEV in the farming environment empowers livestock farmers to be proactive in implementing preventive measures and treatments.
TopSPEC® PEDV/TGEV RT-qPCR Kit is a testing kit specifically designed to detect the presence of PEDV and TGEV - N gene in herds and barn environments. Early disease detection significantly contributes to cost savings by mitigating losses caused by the viruses.
