INTRODUCTION
Monkeypox disease is an infectious illness caused by the Monkeypox virus (MPXV), a member of the Orthopoxvirus genus. Common symptoms include skin rashes or mucosal lesions lasting 2–4 weeks, accompanied by fever, headache, muscle pain, back pain, fatigue, and lymphadenopathy. The disease is typically transmitted through contact with infected individuals or animals and can also be passed from mother to child. Therefore, early detection through diagnostic testing is crucial for effective treatment and prevention of transmission.
TopSENSI ® Monkeypox virus qPCR Kit enables qualitative detection of Monkeypox virus (MPXV) from swab samples collected from skin lesions or secretions using real-time PCR technology. The kit offers several key advantages, including a simple and rapid workflow, along with high sensitivity and specificity.
