- The operating principle of the InnoCell Cytology Processor is based on a dual‑membrane filtration system. The instrument functions according to the principles of liquid‑based cytology, specifically employing a double membrane to capture cells from the specimen preservation tube and transfer them onto an adhesive‑coated glass slide. This process produces a uniform monolayer of cells on the slide, thereby facilitating staining procedures and improving the ease and accuracy of cytological diagnosis.
