INTRODUCTION - THE AUTOMATIC SLIDE STAINER
- The InnoCell Multi Slide Stainer is a fully automated device designed to stain multiple smear samples on glass slides. It ensures uniform staining across all specimens, reduces chemical mix-ups, and minimizes operator errors during the staining process.
- Purpose of Use: The instrument automates the cell staining process using the Papanicolaou (PAP) method, improving efficiency in sample preparation at medical facilities and laboratories. It provides accurate cell staining to support pathological diagnosis, particularly in cervical cancer screening.
- Operating Principle: The stainer works based on the selective staining capability of different cellular components. Following fixation of the sample on the slide, the device performs sequential steps: Cell fixation with alcohol, Staining, Rinsing, Drying of slides. This process is fully automated, ensuring even, clear staining while preserving cellular structure. As a result, microscopic images are sharp and reliable, supporting accurate and efficient medical diagnosis.
