Giới thiệu TopSPEC® TGEV RT-qPCR Kit
Transmissible Gastroenteritis of Swine is an infectious disease caused by the transmissible gastroenteritis virus (TGEV), transmitted through contaminated feed and farm environments. While the disease is typically mild in adult pigs, it poses a serious threat to piglets aged 1–10 days. Infected pigs may exhibit symptoms such as vomiting, anorexia, and diarrhea. Adult pigs tend to recover quickly, but piglets can experience mortality rates of up to 100% if not treated promptly. Notably, TGEV can persist in the bodies of sows for 2–3 months, making early detection critical for implementing timely and effective prevention and control strategies.
TopSPEC® TGEV RT-qPCR Kit is a diagnostic assay designed to detect the presence of TGEV in pigs using One-step RT-qPCR technology targeting the N gene of the virus. Early identification of the pathogen helps reduce the economic losses associated with TGEV infection.
