About TopSPEC® NOS Terminator qPCR Kit
Nopaline synthase terminator gene (NOS Terminator) is a transcription terminator widely used in gene synthesis. This sequence originates from the bacterium Agrobacterium tumefaciens in soil. This bacterium has the ability to insert DNA into plants. Based on this natural characteristic of A. tumefaciens, it has been widely used for artificial gene transfer in plants. After the gene transfer process, the NOS Terminator sequence remains and exists in the genome of the transgenic plant. Therefore, detecting this sequence demonstrates the presence of genetic modification in the tested plant.
