About TopSENSI ® Fungal Meningitis qPCR Kit
Fungal meningitis is a severe infection of the central nervous system that can be fatal if not promptly diagnosed and treated. This condition predominantly affects immunocompromised individuals and can be caused by various fungal species. The most common fungal pathogens associated with human meningitis include Cryptococcus neoformans; Cryptococcus gattii; Candida albicans and Aspergillus fumigatus.
TopSENSI ® Fungal meningitis qPCR Kit is a diagnostic reagent set designed for the detection of fungal pathogens in humans using Real-time PCR technology. The kit enables the accurate identification of common fungal agents, including C.neoformans; C.gattii; C.albicans and A.fumigatus, thereby supporting early diagnosis, etiological differentiation, and the optimization of therapeutic strategies. The results obtained from this assay are intended for clinical reference only and must not be used as the sole basis for definitive diagnosis or exclusion of the disease.
