Genomic DNA (gDNA) extraction from shrimp is a critical step in molecular biology workflows, aimed at recovering genetic material for diagnostic and research purposes. The isolated DNA is utilized in downstream techniques such as PCR/qPCR for the detection and quantification of pathogens, as well as for genetic analysis, selective breeding, and traceability.
