Giới thiệu TopSPEC ® IHHNV PCR Kit
Infectious Hypodermal and Hematopoietic Necrosis (IHHN) in shrimp is caused by the Infectious Hypodermal & Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus. Once infected, the virus destroys gland cells, lymphoid cells, and nerve cells, and it can spread both vertically and horizontally. Shrimp often die in large numbers 10-20 days after stocking. Adverse environmental factors combined with the presence of the virus exacerbate the damage significantly.
TopSPEC® IHHNV PCR Kit is designed to detect the presence of IHHNV in shrimp samples using PCR technology. The kit offers quick testing time, high accuracy, a simple procedure, and the ability to detect multiple pathogens in a single amplification reaction.

Result analysis
– After electrophoresis is completed, the results are visualized on a UV transilluminator or a gel documentation system equipped with UV light.
– 100bp DNA ladder used includes 10 lines from 100 to 1000 bp
– Expected results are as follows:
- A positive sample with IHHNV (Infectious Hypodermal and Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus) shows a 200 bp band.
- Internal control: appears band with size 102bp
