INTRODUCTION
Purulent liver disease in catfish and basa fish is caused by Edwardsiella Ictaluri. The disease has two levels: at mild level, the outside of the fish body is normal, the eyes are slightly protruding, but the liver, kidney, and spleen have many white spots when anatomizing; In severe level, the fish stopped eating, swimming lethargic, in some cases, there was systemic hemorrhage, especially from gills and skin. The disease progressed severely within 2 weeks. Timely screening and detection will reduce risks and losses for farmers.
TopSPEC® Edwardsiella Ictaluri qPCR Kit is a test kit that detects the presence of Edwardsiella Ictaluri (EI) in the culture environment. Early detection of pathogens helps save lost costs caused by EI.
