INTRODUCTION
The new Decapod Iridescent Virus 1 (DIV1) was first detected in 2014 on many types of shrimp such as: red shrimp, white-leg shrimp, giant freshwater shrimp, and crawfish. The virus (DIV1) attacks the blood cells in the gills, hepatopancreas and muscle in infected shrimp. When infected shrimp, shrimps could sink to the bottom of the pond, soften the shell and turn light red and have many symptoms related to the stomach and intestines. The horizontal spread rate and mortality rate is high. If not detected in time, the disease will cause great loss to farmers.
