About TopSPEC® CP4EPSPS gene qPCR Kit
Roundup Ready crop lines contain a gene originating from the bacterium Agrobacterium sp. strain CP4, which encodes an enzyme resistant to glyphosate (an active ingredient in herbicides), known as the CP4EPSPS gene. The expression of the CP4EPSPS gene CP4EPSP leads to glyphosate-resistant crops, allowing more effective weed control through the use of glyphosate-containing herbicides.
TopSPEC® CP4EPSPS gene qPCR Kit is a testing kit designed to detect genetically modified materials through the presence of the CP4EPSPS gene in plants and other food products using the Real-time PCR technique.
