About TopSENSI ® Urease Test Kit
Helicobacter pylori is a spiral-shaped gram-negative bacteria that live in the human stomach. This bacterium is found in the mucous layer above the gastric epithelium, and it does not appear to invade the tissue. However, the lining beneath the H. pylori area is frequently inflamed, a condition known as chronic gastritis. If not diagnosed and detected in time, the disease can develop into gastritis, peptic ulcers, and stomach cancer, one of the most dangerous diseases affecting the digestive system. Currently, people infected with H. pylori, if not detected and treated early, will have the disease for life, so accurate screening and quantification will help treat the disease better.
TopSENSI® Urease Test Kit is used to detect Helicobacter pylori from gastric biopsy samples. The test results from this kit are intended for clinical reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis or exclusion.
