Introduction
Campylobacter is a gram-negative, motile, curved, microaerobic bacillus, often found in the digestive tract of many livestock and poultry.
Campylobacter jejuni (C.jejuni) causes diarrhea in all age groups, the highest incidence is from 1 to 5. C. jejunicauses meningitis in newborns. Symptoms of patients infected with C.jejuni: abdominal pain, diarrhea, fever, headache, bloody diarrhea, nausea or vomiting. Therefore, detecting this agent early is extremely urgent.
TopSENSI ® Campylobacter jejuni qPCR Kit is used to detect the presence of Campylobacter jejuni DNA in samples extracted from various human specimens using Real-time PCR technology. The kit is based on the Real-time PCR method, which amplifies specific genetic sequences unique to Campylobacter jejuni. It offers several advantages, including high specificity and sensitivity, as well as the incorporation of internal and external controls to monitor the DNA extraction process.
