ABT® HPV COLLECTION MEDIUM (DD-081)

INTRODUCTION 

Intended use: Used to preserve and transport smear/biopsy specimens for collection purposes HPV-DNA.

Media components contain substances that inactivate viruses by disrupting viral cell membranes. All viruses present in the environment are inactivated.

Transport the specimen to the laboratory as soon as possible, no more than 7 days after collection. If the time period exceeds 7 days, the sample must be stored at -20⁰C.

Features: ABT® HPV Collection Medium contains a colorless solution, solution pH 6.8 ± 0.5.

• N-Lauroyl sarcosine sodium salt
• TCEP
• Sodium citrate
• Guanidine thiocyanate
• Tris
• EDTA
• Antifoam A

Note:

• Always wear gloves and a facemask during the procedure.
• This product is for single use only. Aseptic operating specifications must be strictly followed. Discard immediately after use, do not reuse.
• The product is stored at room temperature, relative humidity not exceeding 80%, with good ventilation, without corrosive gases.
• Carefully read the instructions for use, pay attention to the expiration date of the product before use. Do not use the product after the expiration date.
