Introducing TopSPEC® LSNV One-step RT-qPCR Kit
Monodon Slow Growth Syndrome (Monodon Slow Growth Syndrome – MSGS) is one of the major concerns, seriously affecting the shrimp farming industry. Laem Singh Virus (LSNV)was identified as associated with shrimp infected with MSGS. LSNV is an RNA virus about 25 nm in diameter that commonly infects shrimp lymph nodes, gills and nervous tissue. Shrimp infected with LSNV do not show obvious signs of disease but have slow growth, so the farming season often has to be extended, increasing costs. Besides, reduced shrimp size will also reduce productivity and value of farmed shrimp.
TopSPEC® LSNV One-step RT-qPCR Kit is a diagnostic kit designed to detect the LSNV virus causing disease in shrimp using RT-qPCR technology. The kit features a simple and rapid workflow with high sensitivity and specificity, enabling timely diagnosis and minimizing losses caused by the disease.
