Introducing TopSPEC® IMNV One-step RT-qPCR Kit
Myofascial necrosis disease (IMV) causes significant mortality in the shrimps such as white shrimp (Penaeus vannamei) and black tiger shrimp (P. monodon), brown tiger shrimp (Penaeus esculentus), white shrimp (P. merguiensis) with high spread rate both horizontally and vertically. The tissue carrying the disease is usually skeletal muscle and, less commonly, cardiac muscle. The mortality rate of infected shrimp is up to 70%. Disease can occur at any stage of shrimp development, so early screening and detection is very important.
TopSPEC® IMNV One-step RT-qPCR Kit is a testing kit designed to detect the presence of Infectious Myonecrosis Virus (IMNV) in aquaculture environments. Early detection of the pathogen helps minimize economic losses caused by IMNV.
