Ehrlichiosis<\/strong> is a disease caused by <\/span>Ehrlichia<\/span><\/em> spp. bacteria, primarily transmitted through dog ticks. <\/span>Ehrlichia<\/span><\/em> invades white blood cells and adversely affects canine health. The disease progresses through three stages: acute, subclinical, and chronic. Common clinical signs include fever, hematologic abnormalities, and general deterioration of the animal\u2019s health.
