MrNV is the primary causative agent of the disease, while XSV also plays a significant role. MrNV infection does not cause mortality in adult shrimp; however, it can be transmitted from broodstock to larvae and juveniles, leading to death. The mortality rate among larvae and juvenile shrimp reaches 100% within 5\u20136 days after the onset of the disease. Therefore, early screening and detection of the MrNV virus should be prioritized to minimize losses.<\/p>\n
